Hit TV Shows, Films & Branded Content.

I'm a creative & logistical producer for popular television series, films & branded content. I'm the person you want around when the S*** hits the fan (or hopefully to help you avoid that)!  Additionally I mentor filmmakers on the business of entertainment, connect investors with high profile films, play piano and enjoy outdoor modern dance.

Jennifer was featured in the September issue of the Producers Guild magazine "Produced By".
Jennifer Hutchins is the Supervising Producer of "That Animal Rescue Show",  a series that follows the animal rescue community in and around Austin, Texas.  The 10-episode docuseries provides a window into this captivating world through moving, humorous and powerful stories of animals, the humans who love them, and the inspiring, life-changing bond that occurs between people who have dedicated their lives to rescue and the animals who rescue them right back.

Hutchins enjoyed hiring over 100 entertainment pros and leading the team through COVID-19 to get post completely virtual and deliver the show.
That Animal Rescue Show is executive produced by five-time Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Richard Linklater (Boyhood, School of Rock) and two-time Academy Award winner and documentarian Bill Guttentag (You Don't Have to Die, Twin Towers).

Jennifer has been producing a documentary film unlike any other she's ever seen. It's entitled BIPOLAR, about undiagnosed mental illness and Bipolar disorder. It not only tells a story, it shows a story. The film has access to, and features years of raw, authentic, and compelling footage showing one (young, attractive, successful) woman's struggle and progression with the disorder. The footage was shot by the husband of the woman (and father of their small child). Oscar-winner Bill Guttentag will be directing. Nobody will be able to turn away, and it will - sadly - be familiar to millions.

These words may seem overused, but THIS is a film that can and will make a difference.

"I feel like I was born to make this film. Growing up with my mom in social work and sharing with us daily horrible stories about families being torn apart by mental illness made an impact. We are using this documentary as a tool to help others going through similar situations, gain awareness of this global mental health crisis and partnering with organizations that can help with solutions" says Jennifer.

"I enjoyed the networking and there were a strong group of serious professionals in attendance.  This is definitely the best networking group I've ever been to!" - Producer Stan Wong - Infinite Fountain Productions.

"The self-introductions were a nice way to break the ice and provide an idea of who was at the event so I could make sure to talk to them.  It also made it easier for those who hadn't introduced themselves to talk to me since they already knew a little about me." - Geoffrey Marschall- Director of Photography
